David is survived by his wife, Marianne children, Mark, Gina, Scott (Tonya), and Michelle Bainbridge twelve grandchildren three great-grandchildren and four siblings. His unique passion for business and community was noticed by all and will be carried on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. During his 50-year healthcare career, he also served his community through commercial and residential business development, always offering young professionals opportunities to join him in his “chase.” He was known for his untouchable IV skills, getting things done and knowing no boundaries, a legacy for which he will always be remembered. David served his Country as a Naval CRNA from 1969-1971, returning home to serve many hospitals in the tri-state area until his retirement in 2019. All the while Marianne carried the occupation, he always deemed most important in life, mother. They raised four children while he worked full-time and gained a master's in psychology, Registered Nursing Degree, and completed his master's in nursing anesthesia. After a childhood of entrepreneurship and education (bachelor's in history), he found the love of his life, and on May 29, 1965, he married Marianne. He was born to Alfred and Modesta Bainbridge on July 24, 1943, in Dubuque, IA. She also volunteered her time at the election booth for Little Grant Township. Wilma was a member of the Lancaster United Methodist Church and it’s Ruth Circle, American Legion Auxiliary, Grant Regional Auxiliary, Merry Mixers 4-H, card club, and served as a superintendent at the Grant County Fair since 1982. She dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. ![]() She enjoyed mowing, watching the birds, gardening, drinking coffee, feeding her cats and ranger rides around her farm. In 1998, Wilma began employment at Gasser True Value in Lancaster until she retired in 2017. They retired from farming in 1998, and Wilma continued to live in the same home for over 65 years. Wilma attended school at Bowen County School. She was born on May 25, 1937, the daughter of Maurice and Sadie J. Wilma Mae Landon, age 85, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. ![]()
